You wrote me your green mountains
sky-blue
wooly clouds
Gold and orange,
your laughter filled rooms
children at play
Your lines painted me darker tones too
and
whites and turquoise
the secrets of your heart
I saw your smile
and heard you
close.
Mano's wonderful theme made me scribble on a small piece of cardboard,
some black paper and take up my brush.

Hello, dear friend.
ReplyDeletethe letters are a beautiful theme to inspire a painting or drawing
We all have cards that store, we all have to write a letter one day, and we do not encourage or put off for another time, and everyone expects to receive a letter one day, too, right?
Sometimes the letter comes, sometimes not come to our hands.
no matter, what matters is that inspires us to create a beautiful image, like you did.
congratulations!
good weekend!
ooooh letters on black I really like that artwork with people inside the envelopes. A lovely idea Renilde.
ReplyDeleteHelen :)
yes, i mean, there was a world in envelopes opening up to you, there, wasn't there? this reminds me of the carrousel in which people sit in teacups, yeah? how about sitting inside an envelope, and popping out. like out of a cake!
ReplyDeletealright! okay! stop the beer, nadine!
{i felt i deserved one after gardening. help! i can't make out whether my dahlia's and the lot are popping up, or whether it's weeds....} ;)))

the left person seem to blow the letter with a breath directly into her mind. wonderful idea.
ReplyDeleteRenilde this is such a powerful piece. It's like the woman is reading a letter that contains the breath (words) energy of the author and he is there in spirit, in thought, in the emotional realm. Gosh this is fabulous. I could study it for a very long time. *smiles* Norma
ReplyDeleteoh renilde, this is such a wonderful work of you! I'm so enchanted (I hope, I found the right word! I mean "verzaubert"!!) by your paintings. and the letters on black paper are an great idea, I love them, too!

Dear Renilde, I love your turqoise and the pictures like a dream, Thank you:) x Leena
ReplyDeleteRenilde, white on black is a reminder of learning letters in school. The teacher writing on the chalkboard with the pupils copying into their notebooks. My favourite of your letters is the one with the figure shouting out the greetings!
ReplyDeleteHELLO, HELLO, HOW ARE YOU! x Carole

ReplyDeleteRenilde, I must apologize because this morning I read the beautiful Pablo Neruda's poetry that you left on my blog and then I should leave my house, because he had some errands to do in town.
