Drawing / Wings

Birds on the wing in the summer cupboard, summer...giving me wings too.
Warm south wind, flowered breezes, gliding through the house are having that effect on me.

And the ancient dream; how would it feel to have wings, or is it just the longing, the magic of that dream that carries a greater value.
(acrylics on a lid of a wine box)

Just when she thought she had grasped it......
(gouache on paper)

The drawing challenge this week is hosted by the creative and free spirited Jasmin over at Jazzy two shoes .
Thank you Jasmin, x.

Wishing you all a happy weekend!

  3. Beautiful! to me this speaks of freedom, longing for the flying dream and how giddy it feels to take flight and yet natural like we really know somewhere inside us how to do it. Very inspiring post :)

  4. Often I dream of flying, and I love it, I never have wings.

Wings take us places, wings usually mean we have birds eye view, we see farther if we are able to take flight.

We believe angels have wings, they can sore in the heavens, among the stars.

Great, great, photos and art! I'm loving it!

    Thank you, for sharing!

  12. hay un cuento de unas zapatillas rojas que al ponértelas no puedes dejar de bailar y tampoco puedes quitártelas.

me encanta la perspectiva sin gravedad de esta última pintura
