dc leaves

I walk a wide forest path
leaves are falling
warm colored show of elegant swirling
it makes me feel like dancing

(I danced)

then i see the whole scene as a
fast-forward -playing movie
Now I dance really rapidly (and it looks weird)
the leaves are falling very quickly
bare branches, the carpet grows...
naked trees
a carpet discoloring, digesting, perishing...

(by now i've long been home)

STOP!  rewind
go back
stay here for awhile

crimson
burgundy
burnt sienna
honey
caramel
chocolate
saffron
indianred
wine
melon
gold

we couldn't ignore the leaves, could we,
Sabine (Miss Hezrfrisch) made us even look closer
please take a look at her beautiful place
to see lots of leaves

have a colorful weekend
X

  1. ha! you've been looking. ànd dancing? it is so tangible in what you show us here. the names of those colours, and the actual leaves, their exuberant colour palette, and to know they will leave too....
you are inspired, and i LOVE the results!! that first finished piece is quite quirky!

  2. you stay so true to yourself
    I LOVE that about you
every time again you produce a painting
    a magical world

    I can see you dance
    with the falling leaves
with all those colors swirling around you
    and
    loving that last image
    the leave-dress
pencil and just a little color

    love

  5. Beautiful beckoning garment, swirling, creating, calling us to dance and create the movement in the moment of becoming. I ponder the colour of my own dress. Indian Red. No ...Mustard Yellow. With decayed edges kissed in gold. Thank you for the dance Renilde!! Norma, x

  15. What a beautiful dance - with words and images. Captivatingly lovely. Dancing through the leaves is finished where I am, but I will dance now through the cold and the snow.
