Renilde it's so good to come along on this ride with you today! What a lovely place you live in. Our trees are blossoming here too, and the skies can't decide whether to be gray or blue, sunny or cloudy, like yours! Dramatic April indeed! Wishing you the best.
dear Camino, i live in a region where the soil has always been very fertile, lots of these old buildings date from a time when prosperous farmers could afford to build large and luxerous. Lots of these places are now renovated and inhabited by wealthy people, others are abandoned or expire slowly, but they have a certain beauty. there are also still farmers and lots of fruit growers. These photos are taken along the small roads where you normally don't come passing through the region. The last photo is of a monastry that was founded here in the 14th century, nowadays used for events and festivals.
Prachtig! Ik hou ervan om te reizen door middel van foto's van mijn internet vrienden. Misschien ben ik daar wel eens voorbijgereden of heb ik in de buurt gekampeerd. :-)
