...and we keep on dancing,
burlesque this time,
bird of paradise dance,
here expressed very openly,
also part of being woman,
this made me think of the oriental equivalent, bellydancing,
and more about tribal fusion bellydancing,
and a beautiful Belgian dancer, Amirah,
we can express everything just using our body language,
how wonderful is that?!
thanks to sweet Tanïa we dance into the month of may,
please take a look at her place and enjoy the show,
uuuh, love your painting! This circle, spot of light... the woman inside a cloud of soft pink. She's got all... and more. A sort of extra...! and the watching people knows it.... breathless.
Amirah is a revelation! makes me wanna try it...
I love the composition, the circle and how you did the people, a very good painting!ReplyDelete
Is there a wolf sitting? Great.
I agree with Stefanie!ReplyDelete
Very good job.
the element "wolf" (or dog, no matter, the animal) is a detail that adds value in terms of mystery to your painting. I love seeing this kind of thing!
Excellent as always, my friend!
this burlesque dancer is beautiful, very feminine and confident - and she is really in the focus of the public (I love how you paint the viewers!).ReplyDelete
Ah, the exotic oriental! She is a beauty.ReplyDelete
what an attraction, in more than one way.ReplyDelete
thoughtful to add a public. i think it is what it is all about, burlesque: impress the spectator... you're only too right to put her in a bubble.
LOVE LOVE LOVEReplyDelete
I wondered what you would do as your palette is usually so light and airy.....but I have to say your colour scheme in this one is fabulous.
where do I start on how much I love your post. the colours the perspective all fantastic and very 'Renildey' (Ilove Renildey things;))
Wow wow wow! Light off, spot on! Renilde, this is a show, a pleasure to enjoy! I'm sitting there in the public (red hair!), staring fascinated at that beautiful dancer! Look at her outfit, her fan, her dance expression...amazing! Applause, standing ovations for this, my dear! Thank you so much!ReplyDelete
wow, with audience! love this point of view and in the circle, really wonderful, I would like to see the show!ReplyDelete
the burlesque dame
and you are the only one
showing the audience too
only if a wolf come and watch me dance.
Her stage looks a bit like the iris of an eye, taking it all in. Ooh la la!ReplyDelete
It's very interesting to see, how everyone developed their own style and way of interpretation of every theme, if someone would show me that painting, I could tell that it was you who made it!ReplyDelete
P.S. May I invite you to the next dc, where I am the hostess this time? I would be very happy!
