dc mandala

when i read about Nadine's theme, i went to the garden
as it is often my place to daydream, meditate, come
to rest and settle
there i picked the late september flowers,
used them to draw patterns and took some photos,
which became flower (and a pumpkin) mandalas.
when winter comes, all brown and wet and dark
they will remind me and take me back to the cheerful
abundance of flowerdays.

please take a look at Nadine's wonderful place
for more mandalas

have a peacefull weekend

little book looking for a title

(acrylic on paper)

(elderberry juice on paper)

(fabric paint on cotton)

today, while the wind  rages fiercely around the house ,
i almost finished a little book that was started here,
just two pages left, waiting for the right inspiration
and maybe a title on the cover, not sure, 'encounters' came to my mind
though that word sounds a bit 'heavy' to me, no?

finding home

(a very good friend of mine who lives in the south of france
is looking for a new home)

on the go...

and in the middle of nowhere i thaught i saw my circus !
over hilltops
and under the canopy
passing life and death
i found a beautiful  river
but it wasn't deep enough to swim in.

Invitation to drawing challenge

I do apologize in advance to those among you with
any form of arachnophobia and i know halloween is still weeks away,
but they are out there in the garden
and they are many
regularly i get 'entangled',
cobwebs in my face and hair are not really a pleasant feeling
but i must admit,
i do admire their skills and the webs are most beautiful.

so for the ones i didn't already scare away
the theme for next week

spider/web

you are all very welcome!
