Drawing Challenge / Another Roadside Attraction

The challenge theme this week,  choosen by the beautiful poetic Demie

wasn't an easy one.

I love riding through the country side but what i see there (quite beautiful  but perhaps a bit dull to show here)

Once i got the idea though, of making a collage of a photo

and a painting i had such fun , i also applied the idea on some older

work (the ones below)

Drawing challenge/ Bundle

She knew she had to travel lighter.

Story stick

At these long winter evenings i love to sit on the couch by the open fire

 with a sketchbook on my lap.

Listening to cd's or tv, dreaming away looking into the flames,  images come and go

and some find their way onto the paper.

Some simply stay there, 

some have the potential to become a gouache or a painting or something else...

This small scribbling  became a gouache.

Sun, frost, cat and mice.

Baba, the youngest, meowing at the door.

Drawing / Teatime

We were invited for tea or coffee by the hospitable Ariane .

Thank you dear.

I love my cup of coffee, strong and hot, usually with cream

but i also like a black expresso.

 Soothing and comforting but also

stimulating and reviving, coffee does it allright.

I like its color, love the smell.

I discovered i can draw with coffee even paint.

And there is a cup for every occasion.

The same night i published the previous post, i finished 'the two coins'

painting.

Later, reading your encouraging comments i was glad i didn't change or add too much .

Just some red to the girl's dress, she is a passioned girl after all.

I suppose the muse may be closer than i know ;)

Today in the garden hope only grew, some things are moving there, 

slowly but so wonderful.

I even discovered a 'peace' stick on a bed of moss.

And the ghost of the daffodil  already roams around, still very thin and airy.

Tempting the muse

January is my least favorite month, each year moving the christmas tree 

outside i  feel like also my inspiration leaves me.

Not my energy, but my muse seems to take a long walk, vacation or

she is just tired and goes to sleep for awhile.

Last week i was very lucky to receive a beautiful package from Rachel,

 among it's lovely contents were two chocolate 'golden' coins.

Would it be possible to seduce the muse,

would she return faster and understand the magic of these coins....
